It was the day of the performance, it was a stressful journey trying to get myself in on time for the performance due to the strikes on TfL, but I made it on time before any performances had started. Our group was the second to perform and we were missing a band member, it was tricky to sing without her as she did the harmonies and I tailored my voice to hers, so when it was time to perform I didn’t know what key to sing at.
I think overall the performance was ok, however all I could think about was how much better it could have been with us all there. I think that was visible by my body language on stage.
After the show I received a message from the missing band member and as I we didn’t want her to fail this module as a band we decided to re do it with her when she arrived.
Even though I was not graded for this performance, I do have some feedback for myself as I seem to be pretty dead on stage. I’d say next time I need to move around a lot more and not stay so stationary.
