On week 9 we decided that the ‘walk this way’ section of the song sounded too much like the original so as a group we decided to change it. We originally had trouble deciding what genre/sound to go with so we were playing around a with different techniques used in funk, and jazz. At the end we decided the drums would have a sort open jazz sound.
We were missing our rapper, Mulan, so we had to try to work around that which was a little challenging when to keep in time butter we worked around that. next week we’re going to try make it more off a mash up because right now it sounds like 2 different sections of the a song.
